Tai Chi for Health Tai Chi is a graceful form of exercise that involves a series of slow movements and deep breathing. It is a low impact exercise requiring no special equipment. It can be practiced indoors or outdoors, either alone or in a group. Tai Chi for arthritis is the style recommended for fall prevention—it has been proven to reduce falls by 47%. The class will be taught in person by an occupational therapist and physical therapist certified in this program.

The benefits of Tai Chi are many, including improved balance, increased leg strength, reduction in fear of falling, improved mobility, increased flexibility, and improved psychological health.

Classes are held at the:

TriHealth Lifestyles Fitness Center Aerobics Room

This is NOT part of main hospital. Head NORTH on Montgomery Rd, and pass hospital main entrance, and pass Emergency driveway. Next you will see building 10600 Montgomery Road (building has green roof). Turn right at the driveway that is before the green roof building. Head straight back and will see a one story building with the signs TriHealth Early Learning Center and Work Capacity Center /Bethesda Fitness Center. On the right side of this building you will see steps that take you to lower level and a side door. This is the Aerobics Room. Knock on door and the instructor will let you in.
